특집논문 : 호남학(湖南學) : 어느 철학자의 비전과 그 후 50년 = Honam Study(湖南學): The vision of a philosopher and about 50 years afterwards

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 철학 분야를 중심으로 호남학연구원의 50년에 걸친 학술적 성과를 비판적으로 검토한다. 구체적으로 다음 세 가지 논제를 중심으로 전개된다. 첫째 연구원의 창설에 기여한 철학자 이을호의 호남학에 대한 철학적 비전을 돌이켜 본다. 둘째, 철학 사상 분야에 국한해서 그 동안 이루어진 연구 성과의 제반 양상들을 종합적으로 검토하고 비판적으로 분석한다. 셋째, 이상의 논의를 배경으로 호남의 지역적 자장 속에서 “철학자들은 자신들이 디디고 사는 곳을 자신의 고유한 학술 활동 속에서 어떻게 다루어야 하는가?”하는 질문을 다룬다. 앞으로 호남학연구원의 철학적 발전은 바로 여기에 대해 대답하려고 시도하는 철학자들의 노력 여하에 달려 있기 때문이다. 이 질문을 중요시 하지 않는 철학자에게 호남학이 철학적 탐구의 주제로 부상하리라는 것을 기대할 수 없다. 이런 점에서 50년 전의 이을 호로부터 50년 후의 우리는 어디까지 나아왔으며, 앞으로 또 어디로 나아가야 할 것인가를 호남의 유교문화권이란 개념과 최근에 나타난 인문한국 사업에 대한 논의를 중심으로 제안하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper reviews the academic results critically which the Honam Study Research has accumulated over 50 years around the field of philosophy. Concretely, Three issues are developed. The first, We look back into Lee eulho`s philosophical vision on the Honam Study that he contributed to set up. The second, We synthetically research and analyze all the matters which have come to fruition in philosophy`s field. The third, We deal with the question, “How does philosopher deal with the place in which we live among our unique academic activities?” Because the philosophical development of Honam Study in the future depends on philosopher`s efforts answering this question. In other words, We can`t expect philosopher who doesn`t make importance of this question to bring up the subject of philosophical inquiry.
