e-Governance 연구의 동향과 한계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

Electronic Governance(e-Governance)는 정보기술의 발전에 따른 변화의 현상을 설명함과 동시에 새로이 대두되고 있는 정치와 정부-시민사회의 변화를 인식하는 이론으로 학계의 관심을 받고 있다. 본 논문은 e-Governance에 대한 논의들이 정보사회의 진전에 따른 우리 사회의 정치적인 현실을 이해하는데 필요한 체계를 정립해 주지 못하고 있다는 인식하에서 현재까지 축적된 연구들을 분석하고, 이를 근거로 미래의 e-Governance 정립을 위한 이론적, 실천적 과제를 제시하고자 하였다.
본 연구는 e-Governance의 등장배경과 개념, 본질에 대해 고찰한 후 e-Governance 연구의 동향을 신공공관리, 정책네트워크, 전자민주주의의 세 입장으로 나누어 비판적으로 분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 분석을 토대로 e-Governance 연구의 한계를 살펴보고 향후 연구의 과제를 도출하였다.
