      The purpose of this paper is to examine the meaning of Won-Buddhisms Circle through Eastern and Western thought. While defining the teaching of the Won-Buddhism is clear, but it has been poorly supported research widely. The truth of ‘Circle’ can not be expressed or expressed in words, so it is necessary to examine the cases that have been used in the history of human spiritual culture from east to west. Therefore, in this paper, we try to reveal the true meaning of Circle by looking at the meaning and characteristics of the circle of the East and the West, focusing on the Circle of Won-Buddhism and the process of creation and change of all things in the universe. To do this, we intend to clarify the meaning and characteristics of the circle based on the book of Change. This is because it is the changing principle of creation of all things in the universe. In the book of Change, It is made clear that The principle of Heaven is called ‘circle’. In order to repeat birth, which is the great virtue of heaven, forever, it is necessary to circulate through the circle movement again. In other words, the circle emphasizes that the movement is imminent. All of the operations of the heaven and earth are carried out in circular motion, and all the structures of all things are circle, and the forms of the planets including the earth are in the circular form. The symbol and the use of the circle in the East and Western thought mean the origin of life and human nature in the essence side, and furthermore, it means the cyclical life view in the operation side. In conclusion, the great virtue of heaven that gives birth to all things is the very essence of the truth of the Circle fullness, which operates the great virtue for eternity, can be seen from the implication of circle. I hope that academic research that broadens understanding of this will be activated.
