In the field of cadastral surveying, existing regional coordinates will be converted to world coordinates by 2020 in accordance with the Act on Establishment and Management of Spatial Information, and cadastral surveying will be performed using the converted world coordinate map from 2021. In this study, we examined the problems of cadastral surveying due to the conversion of the cadastral map of the graphical area into world coordinates. Based on this, a plan to improve cadastral surveying using a graphical area conversion map was proposed. The research results are as follows. As a result of examining the problems of cadastral surveying using the conversion map of the graphical area, it was found that there is no system for investigating the types of errors in the conversion map, and that even in the world coordinate conversion environment, parcel surveying is being performed mainly using the ground surveying method. As an improvement measure for this, the city, county, and district governments and the Korea Geospatial Informatix Corporation proposed a plan to establish a periodic investigation system on types of errors in world coordinate conversion. In addition, a plan for investigating and improving cadastral non-coincidance in the area where the graphical area and the digital area adjacency was presented. Finally, we presented a method for producing a current status map using a parcel survey using COMPACT-GNSS and a drone survey under a world coordinate conversion environment.
