Through this research, it confirmed that their self-esteem is an important factor in the explanation of the adjustment to school. If their relationship with their teacher’s is amicable, they are able to adapt to classrooms better and their relationship with their schoolmates is much better.

Third: Teenagers’self-esteem and the type of family communication patterns are important factors in their adjustment to school. As per the research, it confirmed that if the family communication pattern has a pluralistic pattern and is more conversation oriented and less conformity oriented, then the related variables of self-esteem and their adjustment to school are higher than any other type of family communication patterns.
From this study by including the type of family communication patterns as the variables influencing the self-esteem which determines the mental well-being of the youth, family communication is confirmed to be one of very important factors influencing a teenager’s self-esteem and adjustment to school, along with the type of family, the living standard, and academic achievement in modern society.
