    This research considers personal experience of class critique to clarify the methods of class critique. Based on personal experience of writing an article for a monthly magazine, ‘Urigyoyuk’, this study reflected and refined the methods of class critique and discussed its utilization. In review of the class critique method, the study examined its epistemological background. Secondly, class critique methods were arranged into five stages; preparation of encounter with class, observation and video-taping of class, collecting and analyzing related data including transcription of class, finding the main topic of class, and writing of class critiques. In addition, the meaning of each stage was explored in detail. Finally, the study discussed how to apply class critique for the purpose of teacher professional development.
