학술연구 : 대학도서관 경제학분야 장서평가에 관한 연구 -P대학교도서관을 중심으로- = A Study on Economics Collection Assessment in University Library -with Special Reference to P University Library-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 장서평가를 통해 장서의 강점과 약점을 파악하고 최적의 장서를 위한 기초를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 P대학교도서관의 경제학분야 장서를 대상으로 장서평가를 수행하였다. 장서평가의 방법으로 장서 통계 및 이용통계에 의한 분석 및 리스트체킹을 통한 장서 유용성 분석을 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 P대학교도서관의 현재 장서 구성의 문제점을 지적하고 개선점을 밝히고자 하였다. 이상의 논의들을 통해 제시한 개선점들을 장서개발에 반영하여 최적의 장서 구성을 위한 기초를 마련하는데 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the strength and weakness of collection through the collection assessment and to provide a basis for best collection. This study performs a collection assessment with the economics collection in P university library. The evaluation method used for this study is the analysis by collection and use statistics and the analysis of usefulness of collection by list-checking. This study pointed out the problems of present collection of P university library and suggested some solutions for them. This study expects the foundation of the best collection through reflection of the solutions mentioned.
