다문화교육의 관점에서 도덕과 교육과정의 개정 방향 = Reforming Moral Education Curriculum from the perspective of Multicultural Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Multicultural education has gained great momentum in Korean society. But researches on multicultural moral education are still very few. Though ``Moral Education curriculum reformed in 2007`` includes a variety of multucultural content, It stops short of doing multicultural education in a systematic way. The scope and sequence of multicultural education in Moral Education Curriculum are very problematic. In this regard, this study tried to propose insightful ideas for reforming Moral Education Curriculum. The objectives of Moral Education must be rewritten from the perspective of multicultural education so that they incorporate knowledge, attitudes, and skills required to be sincere and responsible members of multicultural Korean society. The content of Moral Education should incorporate various cultural ingredients so that students grasp the meaning of culture in a total way. The pedagogy of Moral Education should include the idea of equity pedagogy. At the same time, Moral Education Curriculum has to pay great attention to multicultural competencies of teachers.
