시각 자료를 활용한 국어 발음 교육 연구 = A Study on Teaching Korean Pronunciation by Using Visual Material

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Teaching pronunciation aims to monitor our own pronunciation and to pronounce Korean like a standard language speaker when we speak in everyday lives. Pronunciation education should enable learners to correct their own sounds and apply `Standard Pronunciation Regulations-the standard language of present day Seoul Korean` based on school grammar to their real lives: In this thesis, I am going to propose the significant ways of these matters. In this paper, I proposed various teaching-learning methods in Pronunciation education, which are based on Ausubel`s `Meaningful reception learning` Meaningful reception learning through visual material is more efficient than `discovery learning` which is often used in learning new concepts and principles. Meaningful reception learning means understanding each stipulation of `Standard Pronunciation Regulations` by `the cognitive strategy activator`, and then getting used to `the summarizer` available in everyday lives. Finally, learners can be skilled at `the synthesizers` describing steps for the existing Standard Pronunciation Regulations.
