잠재집단분석방법을 활용한 노인여가유형별 특성 분석 = 서울지역 노인여가시설 이용자를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국노인들에게 내재된 여가활동 유형을 파악하고, 이들이 어떻게 구조화되어 있는지를 탐색적인 차원에서 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국 복지패털 데이터를 활용하여 잠재집단분석(LCA)을 시도하였으며 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국노인들의 여가활동유형은 일중심형, 가사중심형, 레져중심형으로 구조화되어있었다. 둘째, 노인들의 심리적 상태에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 여가활동 유형은 가사중심형보다 레져중심형, 일중심형의 여가활동인 것은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 노인들의 여가유형별 구조적 양상에서는 가사중심형의 경우 여성이 일중심형에는 남성이 압도적으로 높게 나타났으며 성별 분업화 현상이 뚜렷하게 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the nation`s demographics shift toward the elderly and life after retirement is prolonged, an important issue is how they will spend their free time during retirement years. This study examined the trends of Korea`s elderly population in terms of preferred spare-time activities, classified those activities, and investigated the impact of these activities on their psychological changes through Latent Class Analysis(LCA) using the national panel data for elderly people. The results of the analysis showed that the types of spare-time activities for Korea`s elderly can be categorized into work-centered, housework-centered, and leisure-centered types. The spare-time activities that had a positive effect on their psychological state were leisure-centered type and work-centered type rather than housework-centered type. Third, the pattern of participation in these activities revealed an overwhelmingly high rate of housework-centered activity for females and a high rate of work-centered activity for males. Such is reflective of a definitive gender specialization.
