Business incubation centers have been playing a diverse supportive role not only in providing facilities, technology, administrative, and management support but also in offering tenancy support until venture companies can sustain themselves. Particularly, the educational programs of these incubation centers play a very crucial role in the growth of tenant companies.
Recently, there has been a growing interest in organizational culture as a factor influencing business performance due to the educational programs of these business incubation centers.
Organizational culture is the heart of a startup, with its influence extending to even the minutest decisions within a company. Without a solid organizational culture, a startup might be just a group chasing dreams, unable to develop products, customers, or market strategies adequately. While there have been some studies on the impact of incubation center support programs on management performance, efficiency, and the enhancement of the professionalism of dedicated personnel, there is a lack of empirical research on the impact of these educational programs on organizational culture.
Therefore, this study aims to examine the impact of the service quality of educational programs at business incubation centers, which includes tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, and practice-oriented design, on educational satisfaction, organizational culture, and organizational performance. It also investigates the relationship between educational satisfaction and its impact on organizational culture and performance. A total of 120 sample groups were collected to verify the validity of the measurement items and hypothesis using the SPSS program. The key findings are as follows:
First, reliability and practice-oriented design among the service quality of the incubation center's educational programs positively impact on educational satisfaction.
Second, the service quality of the educational programs (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, practice-oriented design) and educational satisfaction, when taken as independent variables, show that responsiveness affects strategy in organizational culture, and practice-oriented design impacts structure.
Third, among organizational performance (internal processes, performance compared to competitors), it was found that the strategies and structures corresponding to practical design and organizational culture have an impact on internal processes, and the same variables (practical design, strategy, structure) have an impact on performance compared to competitors.
Fourth, strategy and structure within organizational culture mediate the relationship between educational satisfaction and internal processes.
This study holds significance in analyzing and researching the impact of the service quality of educational programs at business incubation centers on educational satisfaction, organizational culture, and organizational performance. It highlights the importance of the practical aspects of service quality and the significant relationship with organizational culture. The findings of this study are expected to contribute significantly to the development of educational curriculums at business incubation centers, emphasizing the importance of practice-oriented aspects.
