The Relationship among Coach Support, Recreation Specialization and Resilience for Golf Participants

This study statistically verified the structural relationship between coach support, recreation specialization, well-being oriented behavior, and resilience in order to improve the quality of life and live a happy life through golf, which is a desirable physical leisure activity for golf participants. Based on 416 items among them, exploratory factor analysis on the items and reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha for verifying the reliability between the factors using SPSS Window version 18.0 and AMOS version 18.0 were implemented. Main findings were as follows: First trust of instructors had a positive effect on recreation specialization. Second, recreation specialization had a positive effect on resilience. Third, coach support had a positive effect on resilience. Fourth, recreation specialization mediated the relationship between golf participant coach support and resilience. Therefore, it is found that their coaching support and recreation specialization are all important factors in order to improve the resilience of golf participants through golf.
