원효의 일미관행과 트랜스퍼스널(프리프린트)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

트랜스퍼스널 심리학은 개인주의적 인생관을 우주적 의식으로 확장하여 현대 인간의 위기를 극복하고자 한다. 켄 윌버의 의식의 스펙트럼은 인간의 의식을 일곱 가지 계층으로 나누어 자아와 우주와의 합일에서부터 假我의 수준이라는 자아동일성의 전개 과정을 설명한다. 원효의 識說과 켄 윌버의 의식의 스펙트럼은 오식-오감, 제6 의식-그림자 수준, 자아의 수준, 생물학적 대역, 제7 마나식-실존의 수준, 제8 아리야식-초개인적 대역, 제9 암마라식-마음의 수준으로 대비될 수 있다.
윌버는 마음의 수준만이 이원적 대립이 전혀 없는 자아와 우주가 일체가 된 상태라고 보았다. 마음 외의 수준이 실재처럼 보이는 것은 마야에 의한 착각일 뿐이다. 원효도 무명에 의해 不覺하여 일체의 경계를 나타내기 때문에 진여만이 진실의 세계이고, 무명에 의해 나타난 세계는 假構된 세계라고 한다.
윌버는 인류는 모두 각자 자기 초월의 가능성을 가지고 태어났기 때문에 이를 촉진시켜줄 수 있는 적절한 치료와 수행의 과정을 체험하게 되면 자아를 초월하여 궁극적인 깨달음의 경지에까지 나아갈 수 있다고 한다. 이것은 원효가 모든 사람들이 여래장을 가지고 있기 때문에 발심 수행하면 모두 깨달음에 이를 수 있다고 한 것과 같다.
켄 윌버는 우주에 있어 만물의 근원적 평등성과 상대적인 질적인 차이를 인정하고 있는데, 원효도 보편적 평등성의 원리인 진여의 세계와 무명에 의해 전개된 생멸의 현상을 말하고 있지만 양자의 不二를 주장한다.
이기적 욕망에 의해 물질의 노예가 된 인류에게 가장 필요한 것은 이분법적 배타성을 넘어 인간은 상호 의존적이며 우주 속의 한 부분이라는 인식을 양자는 공유하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Wonhyo's thought about vijñāna can be compared with Ken Wilber's idea of the spectrum of consciousness for several side. for example fifth vijñāna with five senses, mano-vijñāna with shadow level, ego level, biosogical bands, manas with existential level, ālayavijñāna with transpersonal bands and amala-vijñāna with mind.
Ken Wilber thought that only the level of mind is the combined state which no collision with ego and universe. the others are just confusion which maya force them to look like rear. Wonhyo also thought that only tathatā is the real true world. because avidyā make people's mind move then these moved mind make everything's boundary. so the world which made by avidyā is not true world.
Ken Wilber thought that everyone can reach to ultimately awaken level by right cure and training. because everyone has potential which can overcome their own self. these thought is just the same with Wonhoy's idea which everybody can get emancipation by religious awakening and training. because all people have buddhadhātu.
Ken Wilber accept that everything has initial equality and relative difference in universe. and Wonhyo also accept the point that common equality of tathatā and born-dead phenomenon which made by avidyā is not the one.
The thing which people who already be a material slave in the present time really need is overcoming the dichotomic exclusionism and realize that human is just one part of universe which depend on each other.
