    An ancient Greek geographer, Pytheas of Massalia, set sail for Tin Island which was the mysterious place for Ancient Greek in BC 325. He reached at Britain Island, now mainland of the UK, where he implemented some scientific observations. Also, he traveled to north beyond Britain Island and reached to the ‘Thule’, which was called as ‘End of the World’, and this expedition made a big impact to ancient Greek and Roman era. Although the exact location of Thule is unknown, the notion that ‘Thule’ is the end of the world’ still influences modern culture.
