<曆中日記>를 통해 본 사대부의 일상과 가족의 의미 = The Meaning of the Daily Life and Family of Sadaebu’s through <Yeokjungilgi>

One of the things that allows you to take a closer look at a person's various daily lives and emotions is a diary. In particular, there is “Yeokjungilgi” as a diary material that allows you to look at the daily lives of the nobleman in the 18th century. Yeokjungilgi, written by Choi Heung-won of Baekbulam for about 60 years, is an important material in that it is possible to confirm the daily lives of the nobleman and the emotions and emotions they feel in their daily lives.
In particular, “Yeokjungilgi” is characterized by various family relationships. Baekbulam Choi Heung-won shows his daughter and son as a great father. The agony between the appearance of a nobleman and a father is evident through the appearance of having to endure his father's sadness as a nobleman. By recognizing the mother and mother's mother's family in the same way, it shows the emotional intimacy with the mother. In addition, a strong will to practice can be found in making a ritual (變禮) that is a nobleman but must be observed in response to the situation of private benefits.
As such, all the daily lives in “Yeokjungilgi” are characterized by being woven into a family, and can be meaningful in that it can understand the family relationship of the noblemen. In this respect, the daily life of the noblemen in “Yeokjungilgi” should be understood in various ways from the social status of the noblemen and from a human perspective. This is because the perception of family was formed first on the basis that Choi Heung-won of Baekbulam was recognized by expanding to a region or social community. Based on the understanding of human beings that originated from the family and the formation of relationships through emotional empathy and emotion, Choi Heung-won of Baekbulam will be able to empathize and communicate with the community. Therefore, “Yeokjungilgi” is a record that provides a glimpse of the empathy and emotion of a nobleman, and through this, it can be understood in various aspects while paying attention to the human aspect of the noblemen.
