대학생의 애착안정성과 대인불안의 관계: 자기표상 및 타인표상의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Self Representation and Others Representation in the Relationship between Attachment Security and Social Anxiety in University Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to test internal working model of attachment theory. That is, we examined whether self-criticism resulting from negative self representation and fear of negative evaluation resulting from negative others representation would mediate the effect of paternal and maternal attachment on social anxiety. 142 university students completed questionnaires assessing attachment security(by IPPA), social anxiety(by IAS), self-criticism(by DEQ) and fear of negative evaluation(FNE).
The results provided support for the internal working model of attachment theory. Attachment security was significantly related with social anxiety. Self-criticism fully mediated the relation between attachment security and social anxiety and fear of negative evaluation partially mediated the relationship between attachment security and social anxiety of university students. It suggests that it is necessary to focus on self-criticism & fear of negative evaluation as well as attachment security when counselling university students who are suffering from social anxiety.
