송 라브렌띠의 「기억」에 반영된 이주의 기억과 경계인의 위상에 관한 연구 = A study on Korean Kazakhstan’s memory on the deportation in 1937 of the Play Memory written by Son Lavrentii

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

I have written this paper with the intent to look into the construction, the form, the esthetic value and the theme of the play Memory . Memory was presented on the stage in 1997 for the first time. Son Lavrentii’s literature, especially in drama, represents Korean Kazakhstan’s memories on the deportation in 1937 somewhat completely. Son Lavrentii succeeds in acquiring a remarkable result of capturing meaningful subject and expressing it by a sophisticated dramatic form, employing a variety of historical materials and repeating seeking for a form which supports it properly. This proves that Son Lavrentii’s literature combines literary universality and concreteness, and proper understanding on a form of drama. The essence of Son Lavrentii’s literature is that he acutely reveals Korean Kazakhstan’s ‘borderline location’ of two cultures, as ‘in-between’ the Soviet and Korea, which comes out after Korean Kazakhstan’s memories on the deportation. Especially, the play Memory deserves to appreciate in many ways. This work studies relations between the Soviets and Korean, and between authority and victim, and fluently puts a consciousness of actual problems into historical tales.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 희곡 「기억」의 구조와 형식, 미학적 가치와 주제를 연구할 목적으로집필되었다. 1997년에 초연된 「기억」은 1937년에 단행된 강제 이주에 대한 카자흐스탄 거주 한국인들의 기억을 담고 있는 작품이다. 송 라브렌티는 이 작품을 통해 한인 조상들의 이주 기억과 이러한 이주 기억을 기억해야 하는 자신들의 입장을기록하는데 성공했다. 다시 말해서 송 라브렌티는 고통스러웠던 우즈토베로의 집단 이주를 문학 작품 속에 형상화하여 역사와 기억의 문제를 문학적으로 관찰하고자 했고, 이러한 역사와 기억의 문제를 통해 후대인은 집단 이주의 기억을 역사적으로 간직할 수 있게 되었다. 이 연구는 「기억」에 활용된 다양한 형식과 미학적 전략을 분석하고, 그 의미와 가치를 분석하는 데에 목적이 있다.
