This study aims at comparing the Korean comparative table for land price with Japanese one. The analysis of work focuses on the concept of the table for land price. the scope of its application, its contents and composition units, and the way of calculating land price. The Korean comparative table for land price and Japanese one are similar reciprocally. However. there are many different things l between Korean table and Japanese one. First of all. while Korean table is made for the mass-calculation of land price by administrative officials. Japanese one for valuation of land price by appraisers. Korean one is composed with administrative areas as well as zoning system. On the contrary. the composing units of Japanese table are actual land uses. Thus, Japanese has no table by administrative area. There is a big difference between Korea and Japan in the way of calculating land price, too. The Korean way is only to multiply the rates of gap. However, the Japanese way is that the rates of gap by unit are added, then are multiplied. In conclusion. it may be difficult to say that the nature of Korean table is similar to Japanese one in spite of the same title of table.
