영재교사 및 부모에 의한 과학영재 행동평정의 비교와 과학적 수행 예측력 고찰 = Gifted Behavior Ratings by Teachers` and Parents` Nominations and Their Scientific Performance Predictions

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to compare gifted behavior ratings by teachers and parents and to predict scientific performances of elementary gifted students by them. The participants of this study were 894 elementary gifted students who took the scientific performance test. This study asked gifted teachers and parents to rate gifted behaviors of these gifted students with using SRBCSS-R(Renzulli, Smith, White, Callahan, Hartman, & Westberg, 2002). The results indicated that gifted teachers rated gifted behaviors of the 5th grade gifted students lower than those of other grade students, especially in ``learning`` and ``motivation.`` Meanwhile, there was significant interaction effect of grade and gender in ``learning`` and ``scientific characteristics`` ratings by parents. In compacting the gifted behavior ratings by gifted teachers and parents, there was significant difference in ``scientific characteristics`` ratings. That is, parents rated significantly higher ``scientific characteristics`` of gifted students than gifted teachers. When this study explored the prediction of gifted behavior ratings by gifted teachers and parents on scientific performance of gifted students, ``scientific characteristics`` ratings by gifted teachers predicted the scientific performance of gifted students and explained 2% of the variance in scientific performance of gifted students.
