계봉우의 사회주의사상과 역사서술 체계 : 독립운동사 서술체계를 중심으로 = Gye Bong-U's Socialism and System of historical depiction

In this study, I inquired into Gye Bong-U's awareness of nationalist movement and historical presentation focusing [The History of Korea] 3 volume written in 1952 in Kzyl-Orda of Kazakhstan of Central Asia.
First, he was strong on nationalist movement, for it is the start of a national liberation movement and a prehistory of communist movement. Second, he thought the 1919 Independence Movement served as a momentum accepted socialism in the country. Furthermore, such idea led him to the logic that the limit of nationalist movement resulted the rise of communist movement. Third, he treated Manchuria of China and Yunhaju of Russia as more important areas of a national liberation movement than home. Fourth, he wrote national liberation movement history of Korea on the basis of Shanghai group. And he devoted a major part of the anti-Japanese fight history in Manchuria since 1930's to works of Kim Il-sung's troops.
After 1920's, Gye's historical writing had been based upon the materialistic view of history. However he underlined integration of nation and class first and last and made an effort to reflect it in his works. He spoke a perfect union of both sides was putting socialistic contents in ‘national form’ named Joseon and also it accorded with the national policy of Lenin. And then he produced the Korean community in Russia from 1923 to 1937 before Koreans were forced to leave in Central Asia as its ideal model.
