국문 초록 (Abstract)

幼兒敎育은 모든 교육의 基礎로서 유아에게 가급적 이른 시기에 적절한 敎育受惠를 누리도록 장려하는 것은 중요한 敎育課題의 하나이다. 더욱이 幼兒段階는 인생 발전단계의 基點으로서 유아에게 어떠한 敎育環境과 課程을 제공하느냐의 문제는 단순히 유아의 生理, 情緖, 知識, 發展에 기여할 수 있다는 사실에만 국한되지 않고, 더 나아가 국가와 민족의 미래발전방향을 결정하는 주요한 계기로 작용한다는 측면에서 그 가치를 부여할 수 있다. 이 논문은 최근 몇 년간 臺灣幼兒敎育의 現況과 問題點을 고찰하고 그 發展方向을 제시함으로써 향후 韓國 유아교육의 발전방향에 일정한 示唆點을 제시하고자 하는 의도에서 서술되었다. 주지하다시피 근 수년간 대만은 급속한 경제발전과 더불어 아시아 발전국가에 비해 비교적 이른 시기부터 敎育先進化를 달성하였고, 부녀자의 취업률이 유달리 높아 유아교육의 필요성에 대한 國民一般의 인식이 투철하며, 또 실제 유아교육에 있어서의 充實度와 效率性이 뛰어난 지역이라고 말할 수 있다. 본 논문은 대만 유아교육의 현황을 敎育機關의 設立, 行政組織, 學級編成 및 年齡分布, 施設 및 設備, 敎師養成制度, 敎育課程, 敎材 및 敎學方法 등의 측면에서 고찰하였다. 서술과정에서 필자는 대만 유아교육의 현황과 문제점을 제기함과 통시에, 그것이 한국 또는 여타 西方先進國의 樣相과 어떤 異同을 나타내는가에 유의함으로써 궁극적으로는 韓國幼兒敎育의 未來像을 설계하는 하나의 初步的指南으로 삼고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The education for infants is the foundation of all education, so it is one of the important educational tasks that infants should be encouraged to have the adequate educational benefit as early as possible. Furthermore, as the state of infant is the crucial point of the development in their lives, the question that what kind of educational environment and curriculum would be given to them is not simply confined to the fact that it would be able to contribute to their physiology, emotion and the development of their knowledge.
It works as a significant motive to determine their nations' and people's futuristic way of advancement. The purpose of this paper is to show a certain base line for the direction of the infant education of Korea in the coming years through examining the present condition and problems of Taiwanese infant education in some recent years and indicating its direction for development. Taiwan has achieved the modernization of education from the comparably early point with rapid economic development of Taiwan in late years, and they have a thorough sense of necessity for infant education due to high rate of women's employment. And they also have really good fullness and efficiency in their virtual infant education.
This paper has inspected about the present situation of Taiwanese infant education in the field of the establishment of educational organization, the system of administration, the division of each class, the distribution of their ages, facilities and equipment, the system of bringing teachers up, the educational courses, teaching materials, and teaching method. The author of this paper raises the present condition and raises problems of Taiwanese infant education, simultaneously I'll take it one of the basic standards in planning the futuristic image of education , making sure that how same and different they are, compared with those of Korea or other western developed countries.
