초등학교 1학년 교과서 구성 및 표현 비교 = A Comparative Study on Text Book's Structure and Expression

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 슬기로운 생활 교과서를 개선하기 위한 아이디어를 찾는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해서, 슬기로운 생활과 관련이 있는 7개국의 초등학교 1학년 교과서를 Johson의 12가지 비교항을 9개 항으로 조정하여 그 준거에 의거 서로 비교해 보았다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 슬기로운 생활은 교과 및 교과서 사용을 안내하는 서문과 안내 부분이 없었다. 둘째, 슬기로운 생활의 목차는 단원명과 쪽수를 보여주고 해당 단원을 찾아가도록 하는 기능이 있다. 반면, 영국의 교과서는 교수ㆍ학습자를 위한 목표와 학습 도착점을 제시하는 기능을 추가 하고 있었다. 셋째, 단원의 구조는 슬기로운 생활의 경우, 전개부 즉, 공부할 주제를 차시별로 1:1로 연결하는 구조였고, 외국의 교과서는 단원학습 도입부, 전개부, 그리고 마무리부를 명시화하고 있었다. 넷째, 1학년 교과서는 주로 삽화나 사진을 위주로 표현하고 있는데, 사진과 삽화 배치 방식이 외국 교과서와 슬기로운 생활은 서로 반대였다. 다섯째, 슬기로운 생활의 학습 활동은 연습의 기회를 제공하는 형태로, 외국의 교과서는 학습 주제를 안내하는 것과, 주제 관련 활동을 안내하는 것을 분리하여 제시하는 경향이 있었다. 다섯째 슬기로운 생활은 참고자료, 요약 및 정리, 색인 용어풀이 부록이 생략되어 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is compared with text books for grade one in elementary school to know the structure and expression of them. It was analyzed koreans(Intelligence Life) and foreign countries' text books which is Canada (Science and Technology), Japanese(Life), France(Social Study), Germans (Science), USA (Social Study and Science), UK(Social Study and Science). The comparative criteria are ① textbook's preface, ② introduction, ③ table of contents, ④ study guides, ⑤ illustrations, ⑥ drilling exercises, ⑦ references, ⑧ summaries and review questions ⑨ index, glossary, appendix.
By the consequence, Intelligence Life was missing preface, introduction, study guide, references, and index, glossary, appendix. First, Intelligence Life was omit-ted preface and introduction. Second, Intelligence Life has a basic function of table of contents that is show or go to a unit, whereas United Kingdom's text book has additional function that's pedagogical function of table of contents which is presenting table of contents and objectives or outcomes of learning. Third, In structure of unit, Intelligence Life consist in one lesson verse one theme of learning. But foreign countries' text books consist with introduction, planing and conclusion of unit. Forth, text book for grade one students represent illustration and pictures mainly, the foreign text books were harmonious arrangement of illustration, pictures and texts. Fifth, in drilling exercises, Intelligence life contained in activities. However, the other text book is separating each other. Finally Intelligence life is omitted references, summaries, review questions, index, glossary, and appendix.
