IPA 기법을 통한 식물해설 내용에 대한 중요도-성취도 비교 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 전국 숲 해설가를 대상으로 IPA 기법을 활용하여 식물해설 내용에 대하여 적절성을 검토하고 향후 식물해설시나리오 제공을 목적으로 이루어졌다. 먼저 국내․외 문헌과 국립공원, 자연휴양림, 수목원의 방문객을 대상으로 한 선행연구를 바탕으로 27개의 예비 식물해설 내용을 도출한 뒤 1∼2차 국립수목원 숲 해설가를 대상으로 설문을 거쳐 최종적으로 18개의 식물해설 내용을 도출하였다. 최종적으로 도출된 18개의 식물해설 내용에 대하여 중요도(I)와 성취도(P)의 전체평균을 비교한 결과 중요도가 성취도보다 높게 나타났다. 그리고 IPA기법을 실시한 결과 I 사분면에 해당하는 항목은‘다양한 식물이해’, ‘식물의 생장과 번식’, ‘계절변화’, ‘숲의 천이’, ‘식물생장에 미치는 환경적요인’, ‘식물의 지구환경조절역할’, ‘환경변화에 따른 식물의 생태적 전략’, ‘동식물간 상호관계’,‘기후변화가 식물, 숲에 미친 영향’, ‘산림휴양의 개인적 효능’, ‘산림휴양의 사회적 효능’의12개 항목이었으며 대부분 식물과 환경을 다루는 항목이 많았다. II 사분면에 해당하는 항목은 ‘자생식물 소개’, ‘희귀, 특산식물’의 2개 항목으로 향후 식물해설시나리오에 비중을 높일 필요가 있음이 나타났다. III 사분면에는 ‘유사식물 구분’, ‘식물자원이용’, ‘식물이름 유래’, ‘식물과 우리민족역사’, ‘인간의 식물, 숲에서 나오는 성분’의 5개 항목으로 현재 숲 해설에서 진행하는 내용들로 향후 식물해설시나리오에는 기본적인 내용만 언급해야할 것으로 여겨진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to determine plant interpretive content and analyze the differences between importance and performance of forest interpreters for the purpose of providing plant interpretive scenarios. First, through literature research related to national parks, recreational forests, and arboreta, 10 pre-plant interpretive types were chosen, after which a final list of 18 types was determined based on a questionnaire about Korea National Arboretum. The results of a comparison of the overall average of importance and performance then showed that importance scored higher than performance. Afterwards, the result of IPA showed that understanding of a variety of plant, growth and reproduction of plants, seasonal changes, the transition of the forest, environmental factors affecting plants’growth, global environmental regulation of roles, ecological strategies of plants due to environmental changes, mutual relations between flora and fauna, effect of climate change on vegetation and forest, personal effects of forest recreation, social effects of forest recreation, those 12 interpretive contents belong to I quadrant, which deals with the plant and the environment. Next, in a case of the II quadrant there was about native plants, rare and endemic plants. Next, about similar plants, the usage of plant resources, the origin of plants’name, plant and our nations history, ingredients from the flora, forest involved in III quadrant. Finally, these results can be used to provide basic information for plant interpretive manual.
