      We studied the experimental contens in five textbooks of high school Earth Science (Science 1B and Earth Science) published in accordance with the fifth amended high school curriculum.
      The number of experiments is a wide difference between five textbooks. It is eighty to total number of a kind of experiments on the five textbooks. This is in supply for ninety seven of ESCP. Textbooks are different in the ratio of particulars specialty. The number of experiments of Oceanography and Meteorology part are similar to that of ESCP, but that of Geology and Astronomy part are differ greatly. Most of the experiments belong to the 1st level of the Schwab's(1966) inquiry level, that is the inquiry ability of the students may not be cultivated by the experiments in present Earth Science textbook.
