      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of self-concept with sports participation type of university students.
      The main purpose of this study was to examine the influence of sports participation type(Skill sport, Combat sport, Conquest sport, Eurhythmics) on psychological character by comparing the difference of physical self-efficacy, self-efficacy and self-esteem, also, it was the correlation sports participation type of psychological character among university students.
      The data was subject to T-test, One Way ANOVA, Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA). Multiple Classification Analysis (MCA), Multiple Regression Analysis using the Windows SPSS PC+ 7.0 program. The level of significance of all hypothesis tests was α=0.5.
      From the analyses of the date, this study reached the following conclusions :
      Frist. the sports participation type among university students has an influence on the perceived physical ability. In detail, there is difference in the perceived physical ability according to the sports participation. In order combat sport, conquest sport. skill sport, eurhythmics is the highest.
      Second, the sports participation type among university students has an uninfluence on the physical self-presentation confidence.
      Third, the sports participation type among university students has an influence on the physical self-efficacy. In detail, there is difference in the physical self-efficacy according to the sports participation, and combat sport, conquest sport, skill sport, eurhythmics is the highest.
      Fourth, the sports participation type among university students has an influence on the self-efficacy. In detail, there is difference in the self-efficacy according to the sports participation, and combat sport, conquest sport, skill sport, eurhythmics is the highest. Fifth, the sports participation type among university students has an influence on the self-esteem. In detail, there is difference in the self-esteem according to the sports participation, and combat sport, conquest sport, eurhythmics, skill sport is the highest, sixth, the physical self-efficacy, self-efficacy among university students has an influence on the self-esteem. In detail, there is perceived physical ability, physical self-presentation confidence, self-efficacy of sports participation type among university students has high correlation on the self-esteem.
