    Okso Gueon-Seop was from a noble family of Noron. Though he was able to have a successful career, he toured everywhere throuout the country and wrote a lot of works which were the result of his tour.
    The distinctive character of his Sijo is that it differs from the previous Sadaebu Sijo for various reasons.
    This is aimed to analyze his works with the subject of 'the discovery of natural beauty', 'the wide-ranging concern about various art', 'the serious and straightforward utterance of inner consciousness'.
    Sadaebu Sijo was newly changed during eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Gueon-Seop is an outstanding figure of the history of Sadaebu Sijo.
