북한 '수령형상문학'의 역사적 변모양상 - 1960~1990년대 북한 서정시를 중심으로 -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In an effort to systematically inquire into the historical transformation aspects of 'Chieftain Shape Literature' appearing in lyric poetry in North Korea, this writer has read the relevant poetic works and critiques. As a result, this write was able to draw the frame of period division and core contents relevant to respective period. (1) Establishing the Status of a Chieftain(1966-1972): In this period, a band of communists intensively embodied Kim, Il-seong's revolutionary family by putting emphasis on the revolutionary spirit of Kim, Hyeong-jik and Kang, Ban-seok who were parents of Kim, Il-seong. It means they used the way of highlighting Kim, Il-seong's greatness through the revolutionary blood of the family line. From the viewpoint of literature history, there arose a maximization in distance between partisanship and partisan's blind loyalty, and original partisanship became ossified into partisan's blind loyalty called "the Kim, Il-seong's Party." (2) Dualization of Main Agents of Revolution(1973-1977): During this period, they attempted at keeping a distance between 'Juche Idea' and Kim, Il-seong. As a result, there arose the trend for raising the status of a chieftain by embodying his humanity and another trend for putting stress on Kim, Jeong-il's revolutionary family line and inheritability of the revolution at the same time. From the viewpoint of literature history, the partisan's blind loyalty was splitted into two; the loyalty to Kim, Il-seong and another toward Kim, Jeong-il. (3) Forming the "Generation' of Revolution(1978-1985): During this period, they proceeded with the operation demanding the loyalty toward Kim, Jeong-il while idolizing Kim, Jeong-il as a consummator of a 'Juche' feat. This was an attempt to consolidate Kim, Jeong-il's status in the arena of realistic politics. From the viewpoint of literature history, there was formed the logic that the shift in generation from Kim, Il-seong to Kim, Jeong-il was the law of Nature. Through this process, Kim, Jeong-il began to emerge as a realistic alternative to closing the distance between partisanship and partisan's blind loyalty, and between ideology and substance. (4) Setting up a Successor of Revolution: During this period, a gang of followers of Kim, Jeong-il asserted emphatically that the history of anti-Japanese revolution was being linked to the history of guidance by putting emphasis on the fact that it was no other than Kim, Jeong-il who revived the tradition of anti-Japanese revolution anew and carried on this tradition today. Accordingly, they emphasized that the great work of 'Juche Revolution' is being consummated from father to son by Kim, Jeong-il by highlighting Kim, Jeong-il's idea theory activity, revolutionary achievement, communistic virtue, and wise guidance, etc. From the viewpoint of literature history, Kim, Jeong-il was openly put up as a new main agent who could combine the partisanship and partisan's blind loyalty. (5) Consummating Revolutionary "Great Monolithic Society"(1989-1995): This period showed that the position of Kim, Il-seong was replaced by Kim, Jeong-il and the revolutionary history of the Kim, Il-seong era would take a new leap into a new phase in the period of Kim, Jeong-il. Subsequently, there appeared the aspect of maximizing the greatness of Kim, Jeong-il. From the viewpoint of literature history, finalized was the shift in generation of the main agent of the revolution from Kim, Il-seong to Kim, Jeong-il. By this, the correlation between partisanship and partisan blind loyalty forewarned a new future as they formed another circulation ring. Resultantly, this writer, through the historical transformation aspects of the north Korean "Chieftain Shape Literature", tried to confirm what agonies and conflict the persons of literary arts in NK have gone through between their own ideological aim and desires for realistic power, and how they have played a variation of mutually disparate life.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

북한 서정시에 나타나는 ‘수령형상문학’의 역사적인 변모양상을 체계적으로 규명하기 위해서 구체적으로 시작품과 평론을 읽어본 결과, 필자는 다음과 같은 시대구분의 틀과 각각의 시대에 해당하는 핵심적인 내용을 도출할 수 있었다. (1) 수령의 위상 세우기 (1966~1972년) : 이 시기에는 김일성의 부모인 김형직과 강반석의 혁명정신을 강조함으로써 김일성의 혁명적 가정을 집중적으로 형상화하고 있다. 가계의 혁명적 혈통을 통하여 김일성의 위대성을 부각시키는 방법을 사용한 것이다. 문학사적 측면에서 볼 때, 이 시기에는 당파성과 당성 간의 거리가 극대화되었고, 당파성이 ‘김일성의 당’이라 불리는 당성으로 경직화하였다. 이 시기에 당은 곧 김일성을 의미하였으며, 당성이란 곧 김일성에 대한 충성을 의미하였다. (2) 혁명의 주체 이원화하기 (1972~1977년) : 이 시기에는 주체사상과 김일성 수령 사이에 거리두기가 시도되었다. 물론 김일성 수령이 주체사상을 창시했지만, 그것을 이론적으로 구조화함으로써 주체사상 자체를 수령이라는 개인의 주관성으로부터 독립시켜 자체완결성을 지닌 하나의 틀로서 객관화시켰다. 그 결과 주체사상에 대한 김일성 수령의 창시자로서의 영향력은 상대적으로 약화되었고, 대신 주체사상을 이론적으로 완성시키고 독창적으로 재해석하여 현실에 적용함으로써 실천적 효과를 끌어내는 역할을 수행한 인물인, 김정일의 영향력이 상대적으로 강화되었다. 따라서 이 시기에는 김일성의 인간애를 형상화함으로써 수령의 위상을 높이고자 하는 경향과 김정일의 혁명적 가계와 혁명의 계승성을 강조하는 경향이 동시에 나타났다. 문학사적 측면에서 볼 때, 이 시기에는 당성이 김일성에 대한 충실성과 김정일에 대한 충실성으로 양분되었다. 실천 논리에 따라 김일성을 정점으로 당성을 추구했던 사람들 가운데 일부가 현실정치 속에서 당파성과 당성 간의 거리를 실감하고 갈등을 겪다가 김정일에게서 새로운 희망을 찾았다. 즉, 당성에 대한 반동으로써 이념적 원리인 당파성에 대한 지향의식이 강하게 되살아난 시기였다. (3) 혁명의 ‘대’ 형성하기 (1978~1985년) : 과거에는 혁명전통의 주체로서 김일성과 그의 활약상을 강조해왔다면, 이 시기에는 백두산을 혁명정신의 상징으로 내세움으로써 ‘혁명정신’ 자체를 추상화하고 관념화하였다. 이는 김일성을 역사 속 인물로 만듦으로써 현실정치로부터 김일성을 거리화 하려는 의도였다. 반면에 주체위업의 완성자로서 김정일을 우상화하고 그에 대한 충성을 요구하는 작업을 진행하였다. 이는 현실정치 속 김정일의 위상을 공고히 하려는 의도였다. 문학사적 측면에서 볼 때, 이 시기에는 혁명정신이 김형직으로부터 김일성에게로 계승된 바와 같이, 다시 김일성으로부터 김정일에게로 계승되는 세대교체가 자연의 법칙이라는 논리를 형성하였다. 이를 통하여 당파성과 당성, 이념과 실체 간의 거리를 좁힐 수 있는 현실적 대안으로서 김정일을 제안하였다. (4) 혁명의 후계자 세우기 (1985년~1989년) : 이 시기에는 항일혁명전통을 오늘날 새롭게 되살려 맥을 이은 것이 김정일임을 강조함으로써, 혁명의 후계자에 의해 항일혁명의 역사가 향도의 역사로 이어지고 있음을 기정사실화하였다. 따라서 이 시기에는 김정일의 위대성을 집중적으로 강조하였다. 김정일의 사상이론 활동과 혁명업적, 공산주의적 덕성과 현
