지역사회조직화에 영향을 미치는 변인에 관한 연구 －사회복지관을 중심으로－ = A Study on the Variables that Influences on the Community Organizing －Focusing on the Community Service Center－

This study is the first study about the community organizing by inferential statistics in Korea. The purpose of this study is to examine the degree of organizing of the community service center and the statistically significant variables which affect organizing of the community service center. Further, this study wishes to find strategic devices for reinvigoration of the community organizing which is a important practice part of the community service center based on the community. The research of this study was conducted on 112 social worker who are currently working in the community service center and charge of community organizing in 2005 or 2006. Collected data were analyzed for one-way ANOVA, Pearson`s correlation, reliability analysis, and multiple regression. The degree of organization building·problem solving·community empowerment were average about 3 in standard of 5 grade. The educational degree of social worker in charge of the community organizing examined as undergraduate educational contents about the community organizing and supplementary training or education in social work field. More over 50% of answers replied that undergraduate educational contents about the community organizing weren`t sufficient. Also, they answered to supplement community organizing strategy, skill, process and organizer` role in undergraduate educational contents. However, they satisfied supplementary training or education about the community organizing in social work field. The statistically significant variables which influence on organization building are social worker`s skills and attitude(p<.05), and supports of chief(p<.01) in multiple regression. The statistically significant variables which affect problem solving are social worker`s skills and attitude(p<.01), and supports of chief(p<.001) and community type(p<.01). The statistically significant variables which have an effect on community empowerment are supports of chief(p<.001), and social worker`s knowledge and experience about the community organizing(p<.001). The implications of this study are as follow: The practical implications of this study are two points. Firstly, personal manager need to consider that social worker charges of the community organizing for long time. Secondly, support of chief need to extend to social worker charges of the community organizing. The political implications of this study are two points. First, education of the social work association need to make various curriculums about community organizing in undergraduate. Second, social work association need to support education or training for social worker charges of the community organizing.
