청원군 내수읍의 경제기반 분석 = An Economic Base Analysis of Naesu Town, Cheongwon County

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 경제기반이론에 따른 기반과 비기반 활동의 수준을 추정하고, 농촌중심지인 청원군 내수읍의 경제기반을 세 가지 간접추정 방법, 즉 임의가정 방법, 입지계수 방법, 최소요구치 방법을 사용해서 분석하였다. 본 연구의 자료는 청원군의 사업체조사보고서에 수록된 자료를 주로 활용하였다. 세 가지 간접추정 방법에 의해 얻은 경제기반승수는 서로 차이가 있지만, 최소요구치의 회귀추정 방법에서 얻은 승수 및 다른 직접조사 연구에서 얻은 승수와 비교하였다. 간접조사방법은 한계가 있지만 좀 더 세분된 산업별 자료와 통근자에 관한 자료를 사용하면 더욱 신뢰할 수 있는 승수를 얻을 수 있을 것이다.

This study estimates the level of the basic and nonbasic activities according to the economic base theory and analyzes the economic bases of Naesu Town, a rural center in Cheongwon County using non-survey methods. The data set for this study was collected from the Report on the Census on Characteristics of Establishments published by Cheongwon County. It is found from this study that the economic base multipliers estimated from the three non-survey methods are quite different but still within the range of multipliers estimated from those reported from the prior study applying direct survey method. There are some limitations in applying non-survey methods for economic base estimation. However, if we use more fractionized sectoral data and incommuter/outcommuter data, we can obtain more reliable multiplier estimates.
