임신기 아버지와 어머니의 부모 효능감과 양육지식의 관계성 연구 = A Study an Parent Efficacy and Child Rearing Knowledge of Parents in Pregnancy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was based on an assumption that parent education is required during pregnancy in order for parents to take care of their children appropriately during fetal period and early childhood period. This study examined parent efficacy and child rearing knowledge of the parents`, who were in their pregnancy period, based on their age, education, pregnancy month. experience of parent education program, and number of pregnancy. One hundred sixty seven parents who were in the pregnancy period participated and answered the questionnaire. The result of this study indicated that mother and father`s total parent efficacy mean score were similar. However, fathers who had experience of parent education had higher parent efficacy score, and mothers who were close to the childbirth and older than other group had higher parent efficacy score. For child rearing knowledge, mothers had more knowledge on cognitive and emotional child rearing knowledge than fathers. As a result of examining the relationship between parent efficacy and child rearing knowledge of the participants mothers showed correlation between parent efficacy and physical and cognitive child rearing knowledge.
