      We need to store the seeds because we have clear evidences of rich and poor harvest in fruition of the seeds of Ulmus parvifolia depending upon method of seed storage.
      Temperature of seed storage cause variation of hydrous condition. We arrived at the following confirmed results by conducting the seeds storage test for 28 months period. After the seed was dried up or hydrated up to level of 13% of hydrous rate, sealed storage is desirable. After gathering seeds at the low temperature and when seeds be sown the next year spring time, it is adequate to store the seed in a temperature of the chambers. But it is useless when the seed is stored for more than 28 months. It is confirmed that optimum temperature is 1∼3℃ level than -25℃ and -40℃ in low temperature storage method. When seed storage in open ground, we can get the most high effect of rapid sprouting when the seed is stored for the next year sowing season.
