Fabrica내 베살리우스의 심층해부에 관하여 = On the Deep Dissections of Vesalius in De Humani Corporis Fabrica

국문 초록 (Abstract)

Fabrica에서 베살리우스는 마치 수술현미경을 보며 해부를 한 것처럼 구조를 세밀히 그리고 설명했다; 그는 소화관벽과 혈관벽의 층을 구분했고 혈관벽에 있는 섬유들의 주행 방향을 묘사했으며 기관지의 관상절단을 통해 가지들을 보여줬고 신경의 잔가지가 근육으로 들어감을 그렸다 이 연구에서 조사한 Fabrica 이전 해부학 책들에서는, 베살리우스의 심층해부와 비슷한 그림은 거의 찾을 수 없었으며, Fabrica 이후 책들에서 나타나는 경우는, Fabrica의 심층해부 그림 과 거의 같았다 이 같은 결과는 해부학 역사에서 차지하고 있는 베살리우스와 그의 저서 Fabrica의 특별함을 다시 일깨워 준다.

In Fabrica, Vesalius drew and described structures as if he were dissecting them under a surgical microscope; he distinguished the layers of the walls of intestine and blood vessels, described the diverse course of the fibers in the walls of vessels, showed the branches of the bronchi on its coronal section, and depicted the entry of the terminal branch of nerve into the muscle. In anatomy books before Fabrica, drawings similar to Vesalius's deep dissections were rare, and when they appeared in books after Fabrica, they were almost identical to the deep dissections in Fabrica. These results remind us of the special place Vesalius and his Fabrica occupy in the history of anatomy.
