특수교육지원센터의 진단ㆍ평가 운영현황과 효율적 지원방안 = The development of Special Education Support Center based on the present status of diagnosis and evaluation status

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 특수교육지원센터에 근무하는 전담교사와 지역교육청 소속의 장학사 17명을 대상으로 특수교육지원센터에서 운영되고 있는 진단․평가 운영 현황 및 효율적인 지원방안에 대해 핵심집단면담을 통해 알아보았다. 특수교육지원센터의 진단ㆍ평가 운영현황에서는 전문성 있는 전담인력 확보와 진단ㆍ평가 운영 체계의 미흡을 어려움으로 들고 있었다. 특수교육지원센터에서 진단ㆍ평가가 효과적으로 운영되기 위해 전담 교사들이 요구한 지원방안은 전담인력에 대한 신분 보장, 전담인력의 전문성 강화, 진단ㆍ평가 운영위원회의 현실적운영, 특수교육 적격성 판단 기준 마련, 유관기관 협력체계 강화였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 특수교육지원센터의 효율적이고 현실적인 지원방안에 대해 논의를 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, the researcher conducted focus group interview with 17 teachers in special education support centers and school district officers to investigate the difficulties of the management process for diagnostic evaluation and realistic solution to support the system.
Difficulties for diagnosis and evaluation in special education support centers are as follows: lack of teachers who are responsible for diagnosis and evaluation.
lack of expertise in diagnosis and evaluation, different diagnosis and evaluation system in each center, and absence of standards and proper diagnosis and evaluation tools for making appropriate selections.
The findings and suggestion of this study are as follows; guarantee of a job status of special education teachers, enforcement of expertise of special education teachers, substantial functions of the committee for diagnosis and evaluation, eligibility judgment basis preparation, development of diagnosis and evaluation tools, and strengthening of a cooperative system with other related institutions and organizations.
