This study has the main objective on how the fencing leader’s type of leadership affects empowerment and satisfaction from duty. The 250 subjects were selected through convenient sampling method among people who are from Kyong-gi, Seoul and are currently participating in the fencing leader conference, and the actual data that were used for the analysis contained 200 surveys that were gathered after leaving out 50 surveys that were considered incomplete. In order to examine this study’s question, data were collected through surveys for leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty.
1. The difference among leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty depending on ages of the fencing leaders did not show much statistically in terms of business leadership, reforming leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty.
Business leadership depending on the ages was the highest from 4 ~ 9 years group and the lowest from 3 years or lower group. Empowerment was the highest from 4 ~ 9 years group and the lowest from 3 years or lower group. In addition, satisfaction from duty was the highest from 10 years or higher group, and the lowest from 3 years or lower group.
2. The difference among leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty depending on teaching experience of the fencing leaders appeared in business leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty.
Business leadership depending on the teaching experience was the highest from 4 ~ 9 years group and the lowest from 3 years or lower group. Empowerment was the highest from 4 ~ 9 years group and the lowest from 3 years or lower group. In addition, satisfaction from duty was the highest from 10 years or higher group, and the lowest from 3 years or lower group.
3. The difference among leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty depending on rank of the fencing leaders appeared in all categories including business leadership, reforming leadership, empowerment and satisfaction from duty.
Business leadership depending on the rank was the highest from rank 6 or higher group and the lowest from rank 4 or lower group. Reforming leadership was the highest from rank 6 or higher group and the lowest from rank 5 group. Empowerment was the highest from rank 6 or higher group and the lowest from rank 5 group. Satisfaction from duty was the highest from rank 5 group and the lowest from rank 4 or lower group.
4. The difference among leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty depending on class of the fencing leaders did not show much statistically in terms of business leadership, reforming leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty.
For business leadership, reforming leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty depending on class manager was the highest among all class groups.
5. Business leadership shows the static correlation from reforming leadership, empowerment, and satisfaction from duty, while reforming leadership shows the static correlation from empowerment, and satisfaction from duty. Also empowerment shows the static correlation from satisfaction from duty.
6. According to the analysis of the effect of business leadership on empowerment and satisfaction from duty, significant effect has been put onto business leadership from empowerment and satisfaction from duty. Also the result of the verification on model’s suitability came out with determining coefficient (R^2) of .672, so it can be known that the business leadership is related to empowerment and satisfaction from duty for 67.2%.
7. According to the analysis of the effect of reforming leadership on empowerment and satisfaction from duty, significant effect has been put onto reforming business from empowerment and satisfaction from duty. Also the result of the verification on model’s suitability came out with determining coefficient (R^2) of .661, so it can be known that the reforming leadership is related to empowerment and satisfaction from duty for 66.1%.
8. According to the analysis of the effect of empowerment on satisfaction from duty, significant effect has been put onto satisfaction from duty from empowerment. Also the result of the verification on model’s suitability came out with determining coefficient (R^2) of .308, so it can be known that the empowerment is related to satisfaction from duty for 30.8%.
