This study examines the relationship between job engagement job burnout and job demands of thermal powerplant workers. In order to investigate the difference on the level of job engagement & burnout of shift workers & regular workers as per job position. Also, it studies the mediating effect of self-efficacy and collective-efficacy. We carried out a survey of 460 thermal powerplant workers measuring job engagement, burnout, demands, self-efficacy and collective-efficacy. The result was as the following; First, there was the meaningful correlation between working type, the job position, job engagement, burnout and demands and also efficacy. Second, it showed the difference on job engagement and burnout as per working type and job position. Third, there was the mediating effects of self and collective-efficacy on job demands, engagement and burnout. Based on these results, this article discussed the significance and the implication for thermal powerplant workers.
