금융 위기와 언론: 2008 글로벌 위기에 대한 각국 언론의 보도양상과 프레임 = Financial Crisis and National News Media: Related with 2008 Global financial crisis

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Related with 2008 Global financial crisis, this research analyzed reporting and media frame of national press in the U.S., England, France, Japan, China and Korea. With this analysis, the study looked into how individual national press getting strategical support from individual government report foreign economic policy of the own country. In result, first of all, individual country`s press has significant difference in view point and position in reporting the financial crisis. In specific, there are differences in the degree of media attention, reporting area, reporting subject, future forecast, reporter, sensemaking information and comparative knowledge, and expert. Second, difference in reporting of correlation between press and foreign policy can be found in news frame. Such media like <Yon-Hap News>, <Kyodo News> and <BBC> that represent national interest emphasized `the structural problem of international dollar system` frame as cause of the crisis, but <CNN> of the U.S. emphasized `lack of institution` or `fallacy of policy`. Recollecting that the U.S and England emphasized institutional reform to get over this financial crisis, the result of the analysis shows correlation of the national press and foreign economic policy. Even though <France24> and <CCTV-9> pointed out errors of the international currency system they emphasized strenghtening of the self-relient effort as solution.
