This paper describes the dynamic modeling and cruising simulation of 2,500m class cruise type autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV) under developing. The non-linear dynamic model is derived for simulation and hydrodynamic parameters for the model are obtained from vertical planar motion mechanics(VPMM) tests. We established simulation model and performed cruising simulation of a AUV.
