6세기 고구려(高句麗)의 북위말(北魏末) 류이민(流移民) 수용과 유인(遊人) = A study of Koguryo`s policy of Chinese emigration of the Late Northern Wei (北魏) Dynasty in the 6th century and Yu-in (遊人)

This article examines historical facts about the Yu-in (遊人) people appeared in Sui-suo Koryojun (隋書 高麗傳). Through a critical review of existing studies, the study investigates active migrations between Koguryo and the Chinese Dynasty. This involved various residents in Koguryo society. With regard to the ``Yu-in`` people (遊人), the study examined Koguryo``s policy of Chinese emigration of the Late Northern Wei (北魏) Dynasty in the 6th century and explained it by giving specific examples with the texts of epitaphs inscribed during the period of Northern Dynasties (北朝), Sui (隋) and Dang (唐) Dynasty. According to Koguryo``s policy of Chinese emigration starting in the sixth century, it received a high-level political refugee with marks of distinction and let him lead a group of people under his control for a certain period of time. In addition, Koguryo gave his people land and reduced taxes for stable settlement without artificial reorganization. Koguryo also levied a poll tax on the Yu-in (遊人) every three years in the 6th century. Consequently, this was recorded in the official history of Sui-suo Koryojun (隋書 高麗傳).
