The purpose of this paper is to trace the poetics of the ``Musimseon``(No-Mind meditation) of Baekwun Gyeonghan(1298-1374) who is a representative seon master and poet in Korea Dynasty, focusing on the formation and characteristic of Musimseon and its influences on his seon poetry: the poems of seeking the dharma and of attaining enlightenment, the poems of meditative thought without any obstacles, and the poems of sympathy with nature. Imchison( 臨濟禪) was introduced from China. Taegobou(太古普愚, 1301-1382)and Naonghyegeun(懶翁惠勤, 1320-1376) encouraged the Ganhwason(看話禪), on the other side, Baegunkyonghan (白雲景閑, 1298-1374) enhanced the Musimson(無心禪). Though the three greatest masters had the different idea of Son, they played a great role in the late Koryo Buddhism. Baekwun``s Musimseon is well revealed in the course of seeking dharma and attaining enlightenment. Actually, Baekwun learned the genuine meaning of Musim from old master Shiwu(石屋, 1272-1352)and also attained the supreme enlightenment. After that, he got ``Inga``(permission of enlightenment) from Shiwu and then succeeded his Imjison lineage. Also, he visited master Jigong(?∼1363) from India and received his teachings. Baekwun regarded Linjiseon(or Ganwhaseon) as one of best practices to attain enlightenment and also stressed ``Musimseon`` beyond Ganwhaseon practice. In this vein, he tried to establish a new Seon tradition through Musimseon. Its trend is well expressed in his poetry. This is the very products of his poetics based on the genuine meaning of Musim. Furthermore, his Musimseon-poetry has a significant meaning as an active practical discourse which aspires to get over attachment and anxiety in our times and then to attain the fullness of the vacancy.
