地域間 均衡發展을 爲한 都市化政策 方向에 관한 硏究 : 京畿道를 中心으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Urban and rural problems simultaneously occurred, according to the accelerative urbanization caused by the industrial development and the iucrease in population.
The Metropolitan area redevelopment plan applied in Kyonggi province is designed to control the gravitation of the population. A rural community has not been developed harmoniously because of establishing the conservation area of nature and the reservation of development.
Accordingly, in order to develop harmoniously both urban and rural area, the city policy to build up the city in the urban area is required. While the cities are converged in the southwest area of Kyonggi province, the north-east area is prevented from developing, because this area is appointed the water supply reservation area.
Consequently, because population is concentrated on the urban area, government builds up the city in the rural area and then the city plays major role in this area.
The methods to build up the city in the rural area are following :
First, one city is built up in every county. That city has a major role in that urban area. Both rural and urban area are developed correlatively.
Second, the city is constructed in the central part of the widest rural region. The function of the city is all sorts of information offer and main part of the life, that of the rural community is carring out the development both major city and rural community itself.
Third, it's necessary to institute the city managing agency.
Only specialists in the both rural and urban problems can establish and execute the long-term planning.
Scholars forsee the urbanization in Korea get firmly fixed in 2001. It's required that long-term city policy should be establised and excuted, because city and rural community mixed-place in the whole country at that time.
