韓氏報應錄攷 : 說話와 歷史性을 中心으로 = The study of classic romance 「Hanssiboeungnok」

국문 초록 (Abstract)

The 「Hanssiboeungnok(한씨보응록)」 had a narrative and historical characteristics simultaneously. The classic romance mentioned is not usually classified as the same kind of a heroic romance or historical novel, but it have be studied as new subject with narrative romance. Because was rather a narrative tale taking the narrative tale as the main subject matter.
1. The 「Hanssiboeungnok」 had a narrative character like 「Okongsulhwa(오공설화)」. The 「Okongsulhwa」 is a narrative one in itself, but the 「Hanssiboeungnok」 has played the role of important motive for the romance.
2. The 「Hanssiboeungnok」 had a narrative factor like 「Arkmazetzisulhwa(악마제치설화)」. The 「Arkmazetzisulhwa」 also is a narrative itself, but The 「Hanssiboeungnok」 has played the role of important motive for the romance.
3. The 「Hanssiboeungnok」 has a legend-like characteristics 「Myeungchoozeunsul(명주전설)」. The 「Myeungchoozeunsul」 could suggest a possibility of modern fiction.
4. The 「Hanssiboeungnok」 lacked in historical ingredients. The classic romance seems to put the focus on the narrative rather than the history.
In conclusion, we can assume that the 「Hanssiboeungnok」 is a sort of classic romance with subject matter of narrative.
