사회복지사 자격 취득을 위한 학점은행제 교육과정에 대한 사례연구 - A대학을 중심으로 - = Credit Bank Social Work Education Program : An Exploratory Single Case Study

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현재 사회복지사 자격증 취득과 관련하여 운영되고 있는 학점은행제 교육과정의 사례를 분석하여 사회복지사 2급 자격취득 과정의 현주소를 점검하고 그 질적 향상을 제언하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 A대학교 평생교육원 학점은행제 사회복지사 2급 과정의 졸업생 6명과 교수 3명을 대상으로 심층면접이 실시되었고 그 외에도 교수 평가자료, 인터넷 자료 등이 삼각화(triangulation)를 통한 사례 분석 방식에 사용되었다. 연구 결과 34개의 하위범주에서 11개의 소주제와 3개의 대주제가 도출되었다. 이 연구를 통하여 현행 학점은행제 과정의 전반적인 재검토가 필요함을 지적하였으며, 사회복지사 2급 자격 과정에 대한 질적 기준을 확립하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to explore how "A" University Credit Bank Social Work education program works and the quality of the second grade social worker education. Three instructors and 6 former students graduates were interviewed. Additionally, data from various documents, websites, logs, and records were utilized.
An explorative single case design was chosen to reveal the entirety of this real life case and its characteristics. Form this study 3 Theme clusters such as Program Preparation, Obstacles to Overcome, and Program Evaluation and 10 themes and 34 formulated meanings. The overall quality of this program seems to be considerably low despite the high hopes of students entering the program with enthusiasm and idealism.
This program deficit is due partly to its for-profit management and its disregard of fundamental education criterion. Therefore, Proper standards for second grade social workers should be upheld and tightened. Students of the program should be afforded a full-time program coordinator and counselor. The Credit Bank programs and practicum should be subject to inspection by a responsible party so that the intended goals are met.
