This paper describes the machining characteristics of micro waved V pattern. Experiments are carried out for changing of main configuration parameters such as period and width in machining micro waved V pattern using PCD(poly crystal diamond) with relief angle 3°. Cutting force was compared with the machining surface through SEM photographs to analyse influence of relief surface of tool.
As a result, this study presented influence of relief surface of tool in machining micro wave V pattern and approach and method of quantitative analysis to create pattern as decreasing its influence.
