비장애 형제의 돌봄 부담과 삶의 만족도의 관계와 장애 수용의 완전매개경로 분석 = The Study of Association Between Caregiving Burden and Life Satisfaction among Non-disabled Siblings of People with Disabilities, Mediating Path Analysis of Acceptance of Disability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 장애인 가정 내 비장애인 형제의 돌봄 부담과 그들의 삶의 만족도와의 관계를 확인하고, 장애 수용의 매개 경로를 분석하는데 있다. 연구방법 연구를 위해 한국장애인개발원에서 2021년 진행된 장애인의 삶 패널조사 4차 데이터를 사용하여, 장애인 가족의 비장애 형제 중 조건에 맞는 284명 데이터를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 27.0 프로그램으로 빈도분석 및 기술분석, 위계적회귀분석을 실시하였으며, Process Macro 4.3 version을 사용하여 매개경로에 대한 부트스트래핑을 진행하였다. 결과 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비장애 형제의 30.3%가 자신의 삶에 불만족한다고 보고하였다. 둘째, 돌봄 부담은 삶의 만족도와 유의미한 부적 상관관계를 갖는다. 셋째, 돌봄 부담과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 장애 수용은 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 비장애 형제의 경우, 직면한 돌봄 부담이 장애 수용을 저해하여 삶의 만족도 수준이 감소 된다. 이를 토대로 비장애 형제를 위한 심리적 지원 및 서비스 전달 체계 개발의 필요성 등 사회복지 실천적, 정책적 제안을 하였다.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the mediating path of acceptance of disability on the association between caregiving burden and life satisfaction for non-disabled siblings of people with disabilities. Methods To examine the present study, ‘the disability and life dynamics panel (4th wave) data’ of Korea Disabled People's Development Institute(KODDI) used and 284 non-disabled siblings of people with disability analized. Results First, 30.3% of non-disabled siblings reported dissatisfaction with life. Second, the caregiving burden has a significant negative correlation with life satisfaction. Third, in the relationship between the caregiving burden and life satisfaction, disability acceptance was found to have a complete mediating effect. Conclusion In the case of non-disabled siblings, the level of life satisfaction decreases as the caregiving burden they face hinders their acceptance of disability. Based on this, practical social welfare and policy suggestions such as psychological support for non-disabled siblings and the necessity of developing a service delivery system
