Five basic patterns were derived from the classical Chinese grammar. They are useful for reading the texts of drug minerals in the oriental medical handbook 'Donguebogam' written in Chinese characters by Heo Jun in 1613:
1) S + P (P: verb, adjective, noun)

By means of the five basic patterns the original Chinese texts of drug minerals of talc and actinolite in the 'Donguebogam' were analysed as examples of their applications and presented in tables of 3 and 4.
