학교청소년의 진로성숙도와 비행과의 관계 = The Relationship between Career Maturity and Delinquency of School Adolescents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 생태체계적 관점에서 학교청소년의 진로성숙도와 지위비행 간 상관관계를 파악하고, 진로성숙도가 개인·가족·또래·학교관련 변수들 사이에서 지위비행에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 한국청소년개발원의 한국청소년패널조사(KYPS)Ⅲ －중등3차 자료를 사용하였으며 연구대상은 현재 고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년 3,088명이다. 학교청소년의 지위비행과 인구사회학적 요인, 개인관련 요인, 가족관련 요인, 또래 및 학교관련 요인, 진로성숙도 간 단순상관관계를 분석한 결과, 학교청소년의 진로성숙도는 전체지위비행과 지위비행의 하위유형인 담배피우기, 무단결석, 가출과 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 진로성숙도가 지위비행에 미치는 영향을 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증한 결과, 진로성숙도는 지위비행 가운데 "무단결석"에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 진로성숙도는 지위비행, 특히 무단결석의 보호요인임이 확인되었다. 따라서 자기이해, 적성 및 소질 개발, 진로정보 등을 포함한 진로지도 프로그램을 통하여 진로성숙도를 높임으로써 학교청소년의 지위비행을 예방하고 개입할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between career maturity and delinquency of school adolescents in ecological perspective. Data of the KYPS－Ⅲ－middle school the 3rd of Korea Institute for Youth Development were used and the samples were 3,088 cases. With the result of simple correlation analysis, negative correlations between career maturity and delinquencies (status offenses) of school adolescents have been shown. Controlling the effects of the respondents` demographical, family－related, peer and school－related, personal factors, multiple regression analysis applied to figure out the influence of career maturity on delinquency of school adolescents. The findings indicated career maturity lowered absenteeism, specially for girls, while career maturity were irrelevant to whole delinquencies. Therefore, it is suggested that the career searching programs could contribute to prevent and intervene in delinquencies of school adolescents and the development of the programs should be required in welfare settings working for school adolescents.
