노인복지주택 계획지침 도출을 위한 실태조사 = A Survey on the Elderly Welfare Housing to Produce Planning Guidelines

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to understand overall present condition and suggest planning directions of Elderly Welfare Housing which is one of the living environments for the healthy and independent elderly. Specific goals of this study include, investigating characteristics of 4 cases of elderly welfare housings, investigating floor space and space layout and proposing planning directions with the result of survey. According to the result of the study, the facility should be located in close proximity to the original communities in order for the elderly to maintain previous social relationships. Increase in number of housing can be considered due to the economic aspect when the facilities are planned in or near cities. The kind of public facilities and services, and the way of providing them can be differentiated according to the economic status of the elderly. Among the necessary services, medical related services should be provided regardless of the economic status. The interior of the housing and the floor space should be designed to support the activities of the elderly. The cost for living and hospital program are key factors to decide living in the housing for the elderly
