북한의 ‘2체제’ 통일전략에 관한 연구 = 북한의 ‘수령권력’ 체제와 영구분단전략을 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research attempts to seek the background and the meanings of ‘a lowlevel federation’ and ‘uriminzokkiri (only our nation)’ reflected in North Korea`s Unification policy, which has been continuously suggested by Pyongyang in the early 1990s. It has tried to point out the two external factors, which had led North Korea`s Unification strategy from ‘one Korea’ to ‘Two Koreas’ : the collapse of the Eastern bloc and South Korea`s higher international profile and democratization. However, this study has also taken into account for the organizational transformation in Pyongyang as another primary reason resulting in the policy change. Since 1986 Kim Il-sung had subordinated all people within the North Korean boundary and even the roles of his successor, Kim Jung-il, to himself, in a way which turns him into the brain of North Korea on the basis of an idea so-called, ‘Social Organism’. As a result, there has been the strengthened solidarity of its regime across the North; it has also significantly caused to deepen heterogeneity of the Korean nation. Pyongyang s ‘two Korea policy’ and ‘uriminzokkiri’ are in this regard nothing but an attempt of leading the permanent division of the Korean Peninsula.
