This study examines product liability and its effects. This study focuses product liability that is one of consumer protection by judicial rescue. Product liability is a rule which controls who takes responsibility for products problems which occur in the market.
This study examines consumer's and producer's consciousness of product safety and product liability.
The legislation of product liability is required because of many reasons. Product liability includes the range of products, the subject of responsibility, the definition of defect, and the exemption clause.
This study examines the effects of product liability. The effects include economic effects and social effects. Economic effects are the effects on the redistribution of resources for product safety, safety and renovation, and Prices. Social effects are the effects on the method of problem solution, administrative standards such as safety standard, voluntary safety regulation of producers, and the increases of consumer's claim for compensation.
