고급 한국어 학습자의 소설 읽기 시 발생하는 `학습부담`의 요인과 학습 전략 = Factors of `Burden of Study` that Happens While Reading Fictions and Learning Strategies in Korean high level Class

국문 초록 (Abstract)

문학은 모국어 사용자의 언어 사용 양상을 사실적으로 보여주는 외국어 교육 자료이다. 특히 소설은 스토리를 따라가면서 자연스럽게 어휘나 문법의 쓰임을 익힐 수 있고, 언어 사용을 충분히 살펴볼 수 있어 언어 능력 발달시키는 데에 유용하다. 또한 문학 능력과 문화 능력을 발달시키는 데에도 도움이 된다.
그런데 소설은 작품이 길고 언어량이 많아서 읽기 활동 시 학습자들의 학습부담이 크다. 특히 많은 양의 어휘와 다양한 형태의 문법은 학습자들을 어렵게 만드는 주요인이 되고 있다. 이런 상황에서도 소설의 어떤 요소가 학습자의 학습부담을 초래하는지에 대한 구체적인 논의는 여전히 부족한 상황이다.
이에 본고에서는 한국 단편 소설 중 정전에 속하는 「봄봄」, 「소나기」, 「수난이대」를 대상으로 문법과 어휘의 분석하였다. 그리고 한국어 학습 항목과 대조하여 학습부담을 초래할 개연성이 높은 요소들을 추출하였다. 분석한 결과를 토대로 문법과 어휘를 처리하여 학습부담을 줄일 수 있는 전략을 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Literature is a material for foreign language education that clearly shows the linguistic features of the native speakers. Especially it is very useful to read fictions as they allow the readers to naturally learn the vocabulary or grammar within the story, helping the readers improve their linguistic ability. Moreover, fictions help develop literature and cultural skills.
However, it is hard for the learners to read fictions because they are long and have a lot of vocabularies. In particular, the large number of words and diverse kinds of grammars are the main factor that troubles the learners. In addition, there is still a lack of specific measures to discuss the burden of learning a learner should go through while reading fictions.
This study analyzed the grammar and vocabulary contained in the bible of Korean short fictions, 「Bom Bom」, 「Sudden Shower」, and 「The Suffering of the Two Generations 」. The study then extracted the factors that had a high correlation with the burden of learning in comparison with Korean learning. The study suggested strategies to reduce the burden of learning by processing the grammar and vocabulary based on the result.
